Linda cobb to retire

Linda Cobb, Operations Manager, will be retiring at the end of January. Linda joined RCODE in 2021 to organize the Rondo Center office, establish the Juneteenth and Engraved Brick ceremonies, and assist with the Rondo Research Collection.

Since then, her role has grown to include managing the Rondo Center Community Garden (RCCG), coordinating volunteers, and organizing special events & projects. She also facilitated countless partnerships, including with Mixed Blood Theatre, TU Dance, Frogtown Green, & Elpis Enterprises.

While reflecting on her time at RCODE, Linda shared “It was a learning experience! This is a great time in RCODE’s history — it has potential to grow!” Some of her favorite programs included the movement workshop with TU Dance during Summer 2023, and the August 2024 Voting Workshop in partnership with the MN Office of the Secretary of State.

Linda’s position as Operations Manager was a post-retirement role after her thirty-year career in the airline industry. With more time on her hands, she is looking forward to finishing several long-term projects, spending time with family (especially grandchildren), volunteering, and traveling.
